Carolyn Williams

Carolyn Williams, age 83, of Dayton, passed away December 22, 2022. She was born October 23, 1939 in Perry County, KY to the late Bennie and Melissa Polly. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Williams; sons: Fred Williams, Jr. and Michael Williams; 4 sisters and 4 brothers.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Rosa Amburgey (John Burdette, Jr.); 5 grandchildren: David Swett, Bennie Swett, Melissa Brooks, Christopher Williams, Brandy Blevins, Katie Williams and Annie Williams; many great-grandchildren; sister, Christine Couch; brother, Arlis Polly; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2-3 pm on Monday, January 2, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm.
