Carolyn Van Savage

SAVAGE, Carolyn, age 59, passed away Friday, January 16, 2009. She was born December 17, 1949 in Dayton, OH. Carolyn blessed the lives of many people with her generosity and kindness. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Van Abshire and Millie Lockard, and sister, Deborah Lynn Abshire. She is survived by her children, Debora Abshire, Gerald (Andria) Abshire, Bryan (Venita) Savage, Brandie Pedraza, Da'Marie Meade; foster children, Yvonne Minor, Wilbur Dabney; siblings, Sherlyn Abshire, Phillip (Bev) Abshire, and Dana Jett; 16 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild, as well as a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 23, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Interment to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2009 (TODAY) at the funeral home.
