Carolyn Sue Sortman

Carolyn Sue Sortman (Waldron) of Mason, Ohio passed away peacefully and went to be with her Lord and her beloved husband, Larry on December 31, 2021.
She was born on April 16, 1941 to the late Elden and Edith (Hess) Waldron.
She was a graduate of Fairview High School and an avid volunteer in the Dan Beard Council of Boy Scouts. Sue enjoyed sharing her talents of jewelry creation, crocheting and knitting with others.
Sue attended Grace Chapel in Mason where she volunteered with the children's fall festival and VBS and attended social events at the church.
Sue is survived by her children: April (Greg) Firsdon, Brian (Matt McKeever) Sortman and Teresa Tanner; grandchildren: Ashley Mitchell, Stephen Firsdon, Katherine Firsdon, Jonathan (Molly) Firsdon, Kendra McMahan, Madison McMahan and Cassidy McMahan; great-grandchildren: Caleb Firsdon and Wyatt Trovillo.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Sue's name to Purrfect Friends Cat Rescue or Breast Cancer Research.
