Carolyn Lee Ratliff, age 89 of Port Charlotte, Florida, formerly Dayton, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024. She was born September 11, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late Raymond and Bernice Ryan.
Carolyn enjoyed playing BINGO with her girlfriends. In her younger years, she loved to play golf, go bowling, and attend car shows with her husband, Rollin, in their 1957 Chevy. Carolyn was also a huge Detroit Lions football fan! Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who she took on many vacations.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Debbie Garber (Steve Brannon); sons, Ken (Linda) Ratliff, Rick Ratliff (Debby Gray); grandchildren, Roxanne Ratliff (Nick Nadeau), Kyle Ratliff (Maddie Armstrong), Spencer Brannon, and Trevor Brannon; as well as numerous relatives and friends, including best friend Gerry Young.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rollin Ratliff; daughter, Linda Ratliff; grandson, Justin Ratliff; and best friend, Anita Downs.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459). Funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Miami Valley Memory Gardens in Centerville, Ohio.
