Carolyn Marie Hergenrather

HERGENRATHER, Carolyn Marie, age 76, of Trotwood, passed away peacefully Monday, December 3, 2007 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born June 30, 1931 in Waverly, OH, the daughter of the late Samuel and Mildred (Miller) Rhoads. Carolyn was employed by K-mart in Englewood as a Human Resource Manager for over 21 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted in 2005; one granddaughter, Michelle; one sister, Bonnie; two brothers, Al and Dan. She is survived by her children, Robin (Bob) Mahaffey, David (Janice) Hergenrather, and Karen (Rick) Hodge; 5 grandchildren, Shawn, Chad, David, Zack, and Lee; 4 great-grandchildren, Zane, Aulbrey, Elijah, and Kaylah; one brother, Joe. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 6, 2007 from 1-2 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd.) with funeral services at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff at Hospice of Dayton for their care and concern shown to our mother.
