ROSENER, Carolyn J., age 69, of Liberty Retirement Center, formerly, of Riverside, went home to heaven to join her lord, family, and friends on August 23, 2006. Carolyn was born in Dayton on September 4, 1936 to Willard and Alma (Steiner) Rosener. She was preceded in death by both parents. She is survived by her brother, Harvey J. (Mary Sue) Rosener of Sherwood, Oregon; two nephews, Tim (Sharon) Rosener, daughter Anna of Sherwood, Oregon, and Daven (Sara) Rosener, children Benjamin and Kaitlyn of Tacoma, Washington. Carolyn retired from NCR after many years of service. She was a member of Bethel Christian Assembly of God where she attended faithfully as long as her health permitted. She was a faithful prayer warrior and was a part of the church prayer chain. She spent much of her time listening to christian radio and watching christian television. She will be sorely missed by her many friends and family members and her Sunday school class who faithfully visited her during her stay at Liberty. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 27, 2006 from 4-6 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd) where funeral services will be held Monday, August 28, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor's Dan Brown and Ron Houser officiating. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
