Carolyn Marie Hassler

Carolyn M. Hassler, Huber Heights Ohio, passed away the morning of June 9, 2022. Born Carolyn Marie Wilkinson to Raymond and Margaret Wilkinson on August 11, 1932, in Shelby, Ohio, she was 89 years young.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Retired USAF Major, James R. Hassler; Her son, James and wife Diane Hassler, Beavercreek, Ohio; Her sister, Sandra and husband Don and son Scott Hammond, Columbus Ohio; Brother Mark Wilkinson, sons Matt and Marc of Mansfield, Ohio.
Surviving extended family members include Jennifer and Jamshid Moradmand, son Maziar Moradmand, Kettering, Ohio; Jeff and Lisa Mesaros, son Cameron, Thousand Oaks, CA.; Elizabeth and Chris Enge, Lucy Enge, and Alex Enge, of Cincinnati Ohio.
Special appreciation should be mentioned to the Leadership Team, nurses, aides and staff at Austin Trace Health and Rehabilitation of Washington Township, for their attentiveness and special care for Carolyn these last few months.
A private burial will be conducted at the VA Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio.
The family is requesting in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Crossroads Hospice, 8069 Washington Village Drive, Dayton, Ohio 45458.
