Carolyn Delores Gibson

Carolyn Delores Gibson , age 83, of Dayton passed away on May 1, 2023, with her loving family by her side. She was born in McDermott, Ohio, on October 29, 1939.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Don Gibson; her dear sons, Andy, Greg and Dana Koch; and her granddaughter, Missy Sue Crute.

Carolyn is survived by her loving daughter, Gale (Rod) Jones; grandchildren, Ashley (Haley) Dick, Brittany Jones, Brandon (Shannan) Jones, Jennifer (Steve) Bailey and Rachel (Gene) Ruberte; brother, Bill Thompson; daughter-in-law, Tina Koch; step-children, Gary (June) Gibson, Beverly (Dave) Allison, Michelle (Dan) Forshaw and Jeff (Tess) Gibson; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and other family members in Southern Ohio.

Carolyn's strong faith was something she held very dear and she was very involved in her church group at Faith Baptist Church in Beavercreek. She loved the Ladies Church Group she was a member of. Being outdoors in nature and being around wildlife was also something she greatly enjoyed. She was truly devoted to her family and they meant the world to her. In the words of Carolyn, "I Love You All!"

Visitation will be held from 12:00pm-1:00pm, on Monday, May 8, 2023, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where a Celebration of Carolyn's Life will begin at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Beavertown Cemetery in Kettering, Ohio.
