Carolyn Ann Elsass, age 60 of New Carlisle, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2020 at her home. She was born March 8, 1960 in Cookeville, Tennessee the daughter of Charles and Jeana Hooten.
She is preceded in death by her Father; Charles A. Hooten, Father-in-law; Doyle E. Elsass.
Carolyn is survived by mother; Jeana Hooten, her Husband of 40 years; Michael Elsass, Daughter; Brandy G. (Chris Welch) Brittain, Son; Dustin M. (Brittany) Elsass, Three Grandchildren; Makayla Brittain, Sydney Brittain, Ethan Elsass, Aunt; Lorene Reed, Two Sisters; Norma J. Palmer, Charlie C. (Twain) Carter, Brother; Richard (Cindy Rodewald) Hooten, Mother-In-Law; Tootie Elsass, Two Brother-In-Laws; Rodney (Donna) Elsass, Doug Elsass, Sister-In-Law; Vicki (Dave) Chadwell, very special friends; Tawnya (Leroy) Brock, Vickie (Terry) Caudill, She is survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, also numerous other family and friends.
Carolyn was known for being feisty and having the last word. She enjoyed swimming, traveling, photography, and spending time surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
