TRIMBLE, Carolyn Elizabeth age 66. Born December 5, 1949 in Charleston, WV and died on August 3, 2016 at her home in Trotwood, OH after a 3 year courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
Carolyn was a 1968 graduate of Meadowdale High School and a 1972 graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She proudly served the nursing profession as a registered nurse at the OSU Medical Center, Good Samaritan Hospital, Lifestages OB/GYN and United HealthCare. Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Margaret Trimble in 1998.
She is survived by her father, Hugh Trimble,Jr., devoted siblings, brother Hugh Trimble,III (Nancy), sisters, Joanna Wolfe (David), Debbie Ribbink (Steve), Nancy Ezerski, Becky Berkey (Kim), and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews whom she cherished. She also leaves behind her 2 precious cats.
The family thanks Carolyn's medical team especially Dr. Haluschak and the entire oncology staff at Samaritan North for their kindness, support and excellent care during her illness. The family also thanks her dear friend Delores Hoover for all of her support. Inurnment will be at Woodland Cemetery.
A memorial service will be held August 19th at Abiding Christ Lutheran Church 326 E. Dayton Yellow Springs Rd. Fairborn, OH 45434. Family will receive friends at 6:00pm with a service at 7:00pm.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
