Carolyn E. Williams

Carolyn E. Williams was born on January 6, 1949, and passed away peacefully on August 9, 2024, surrounded by family. She is proceeded in death by her husband of thirty-two years, Donald Williams and parents Russell and Emily Gunter. 

She is survived by her two children, Lisa (Jim) Blanton, Leslie (Mark) Bennett, sisters Kandy (Joe) Eisen and Debbie Nye, brothers Richard (Ellen) Gunter and Darrell Gunter, six grandchildren Adam (Lindsey) Blanton, Jacob (Rachel) Blanton, Taylor Bennett, Alyssa (Corey) Coates, Nicholas Bennett and Kyle Bennett, great-grandchildren Landyn, Adalyn, Graclyn, Carter, Caden, Elise, Jacob Jr., Rhett, Georgia, and Hunter. 

Carolyn was a registered nurse for over thirty years and a mentor to all she came across in her nursing career. Carolyn loved reading, puzzles, cooking, and the beach. She touched many lives and will be forever missed.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3940 Kettering Blvd. Kettering, OH 45439). Graveside Service will be officiated by Pastor Joel Getts at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Woodland Cemetery (118 Woodland Avenue Dayton, OH 45409).
