Carolyn Dowell Wright

Carolyn Dowell Wright, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, age 77, of Riverside, passed away November 28, 2020. She was born April 10, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Collie and Vina (Lakes) Dowell.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Lester Wright; brothers, Eugene Dowell and Charles Angel; and sisters, Hattie Shaw, Eulah Plessinger, Berniece Gearhart and Ruthanne Fink.
She is survived by her sons, David (Carolyn) Wright, Daniel (Melissa) Wright; and grandchildren, David Wright, Joshua (Natashia) Wright, Joseph Wright, Jacob Wright, Kyle (Tara) Eck, Grace Hutton.
Carolyn enjoyed genealogy, gardening and flowers, spending time with her grandchildren and her beloved dog, Jasmine. She loved taking family trips to Florida.
Carolyn's family would like to express their gratitude to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton for their wonderful care and compassion during this difficult time.
A private service will be held for the family. Carolyn will be laid to rest next to Lester at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face mask will be worn in all public places.
