Carolyn Sue Disney, age 73 of Kettering, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 16, 2019 at her home. She was born January 2, 1946 in Pioneer, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Warren Woods and Anna Pauline Wright.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Disney-Conley.
Carolyn is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jerry; son, Jeff (Tonia) Disney; daughter, Kathy (Daniel) Caudill; son-in-law, Dwayne Conley; grandchildren, Jerry Disney, Zach (Alicia) Wilson, Brittney (Christopher) Wysong, Marissa Caudill, Jordy Conley, Josie (Josh) Boltin; 12 great grandchildren; siblings, Linda (Lon) Morgan, Mary Woods, Warren Irvin Woods; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Carolyn was a devout Christian that served God with everything that she had. She spent most of her time serving others and caring for their needs. She loved listening to music, working in the garden, going camping and spend time with her family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 10:30 am, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Park Cemetery.
