Caroline Sartin

SARTIN, Caroline E., age 81, of Kettering, passed away Friday, September 9, 2005 at her home with her family at her side. Caroline was born June 24, 1924 in New Philadelphia, OH, the daughter of Mancel T. and Helen G. (Kopp) Johnson. Caroline was a devoted wife, mother, Grandmother, and friend. Over the years she worked for W.P.A.F.B. and Rike's Department Store. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 54 years, William "Bill" Sartin. Caroline is survived by three sons, John, Steven (Brenda), and Kevin (Christiane); six grandchildren, Benjamin, Patrick, Kristina (George), Andrew, Katie, and Scott; one great-grandchild, Anderson; one sister, Doris Gall (Walter); three brothers, Leslie Johnson (Ellen), Keith Johnson (Patty), and William Johnson (Joann); Special family friends, Linda Sartin, Bill Greene, and her beloved companion "Skeeter". The family would like to extend a heart felt thanks to the caregivers of Heartland Hospice. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at Newcomer Funeral Home (3940 Kettering Blvd.) with interment following in Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
