Carole Jean Moon

Carole Jean Moon, age 85 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born August 31, 1933 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Emery and Marjorie Schaeffer.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence Moon; brothers, Emery "Bud" Schaeffer and Dennis Schaeffer.
Carole was a member of the Women's Auxillary of VFW Post 8312 Beavercreek. OH.
Carole is survived by her sons, Mark A. (Jane) Moon and Steven C. (Margaret) Moon; daughter, Deborah K. Wailes; grandchildren, Matthew G. (Laura) Wailes, Andrew J. (Kate) Wailes, Hannah Wailes, Bethany M. (Blake) Reeder, Leah N. Wailes, Benjamin (Summer) Moon, Katie Moon, Jesse (Lexie) Moon and Maria Moon; 11 great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be held on May 1, 2019 from 6-8 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Interment will take place on May 2, 2019 at 10:15 am at Dayton National Cemetery.
