Carole J. (Manning) Mccormick

McCormick, Carole J., (Manning), 76, of Old North Dayton, passed away July 27, 2017.
She was born December 25, 1940 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Ralph and Catherine (Schaaf) Manning. She was preceded in death by her husband, John "Doc" F. McCormick. Carole is survived by her three children, John and Patricia McCormick, Jill and Tim Kernan, and Scott McCormick; 9 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Lana and Don Eby.
Carole graduated from Julienne High School in 1959 and married Doc in 1962. She was an avid reader and worked at Evan's Bakery in Old North Dayton for many years. Her greatest passion was taking care of her family.
Visitation will be held from 10am until 11:30am on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial 12:00pm at St. Henry Church 6696 Springboro Pike. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Hillspring Health Care Center of Springboro and Ohio Hospice of Dayton for their loving care of Carole.
