Carole Horton, age 76 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2019. She was born September 3, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio daughter to the late Carl and Margaret Davis.
Carole loved people and could never tell a lie.She enjoyed taking weekend trips with her husband, Jerry as well as shopping and crafting. For many years, Carole was employed with Diet Workshop and Choices Community Living. She was an active member at Independent Gospel Fellowship Church as well as Greenview Calvary Tabernacle. Carole loved to listen to gospel music and attending gospel concerts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Jim Davis.
Carole will be missed by her loving husband of 57 years, Jerry; two sons, Gerald Horton and James Horton; grandchildren; great grandchildren; two sisters, Diana (Nelson) DeMoss and Barbara Jean Davis; sister-in-law, Sandy Davis; six nephews and two nieces.
Family will receive friends Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Burial West Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Carole's memory to the Independent Gospel Fellowship Church.
