Carole Louise Brassard

Carole Louise Brassard, 73, passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 at Grandview Hospital with her loving family by her side. Carole was the daughter of Kenneth James and Ethel Rae (Mooney) Sproul. She was the devoted wife of Joseph N.L. Brassard, Jr. who survives. They were married on November 21, 1964 in Bangor, Maine, and were married 52 years.

Carole loved to cook, sew, embroider and enjoyed visiting her family. She loved her little companion dog Reese, walking on the beach, the pine forest and seashore of Maine. She enjoyed spending Saturday evening dinners at the VFW and chatting with her close friends Monica and Irish. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed.

Carole is survived by her devoted husband, two sons, Joseph A. (Eileen) Brassard and Adam C. (Crystal) Brassard; two daughters, Danielle L. (Robbie) Eldridge and Amie E. (Jeffery) Martin; six grandchildren Sarah and Andrew Brassard, Jennifer Grim, Carolyn Wilson, Hunter Martin and Cheri Wileman; five great grandchildren Emmalyn, Alivia, Morgan, Reid and Kylie; and a sister Marilyn Sproul and a very special sister in law Karen Sproul. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother Raymond K. Sproul.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 4:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel. Visitation will be held two hours prior from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. A graveside burial service will be held on Monday, February 6, 2017 at Dayton National Cemetery.
