Carol Thurman

THURMAN, Carol C., age 71, of Huber Heights, OH, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2005. She was born February 26, 1934 in Portsmouth, OH, the daughter of Wilbert and Alma (Colley) Howard. She was a member of the Women's Auxillary V.F.W. Post 3283 in Huber Heights. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Richard Thurman; two daughters and son's-in-law, Kim and Larry Mullett of Huber Heights, Lisa and Tim Brown of Brookeville, OH; three grandchildren, Kristen Adkins, Daniel Williams, and Emilia Brown; Sister's, Mary Bartee, Betty Rader, Patricia Humble, Verla Messer, Ruby Roof, Ruth Maggard; brother's, Bob Colley, Virgil Howard, and Herman Howard; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents; one sister, Arvilla Ruggles; two brothers, Wilbert Howard and Vernon Howard. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd.) with visitation 1 hour prior to time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or the American Cancer Foundation.
