Carol Stukenborg of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at the Hospice of Dayton.
She was born on August 31, 1949 to the late Gregor and Winnie Stukenborg. Carol was the first daughter, granddaughter and niece to the family. Carol was a lifelong resident of Dayton and graduated from Wilbur Wright High School in 1967. She worked at Family Dollar, Rike's and Elder Beerman's where she recently retired.
Carol was a kind hearted and gentle soul who spent a lot of her life taking care of animals and providing a safe and loving home for them. She loved spending time with her family and she will be missed by everyone whose life she touched.
She is survived by her sisters, Debby Stuart (Bob), Nancy Hambright (Jim) and Theresa Bardos, as well as her brothers Greg (Pam) and Mark. There are many other relatives and friends that Carol leaves behind. She leaves behind her beloved pets, Echo, Halo, Astro and Jake.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Humane Society or SISCA can be made in Carol's honor.
