ROOT, Carol Rosita

of Kettering passed away Sunday, June 18, 2006 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. Carol was born February 4, 1935, the Daughter of William and Gladys Hahn. She worked for Mamma DiSalo's for over 20 years. She is survived by her father; children, Debbie Bauer and Jim Wilson; daughter-in-law, Victoria Steiner-Ketzel; step-daughters, Dana Fisher and Christy Mangan; brothers, Dick Hahn and Bill Hahn; sisters, Margie Johnson and Patty Reese; grandchildren, David, Daniel, Joshua, Jeremy, Christian, Mark, Jennifer, Kristin, and Cheyenne; numerous step-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her mother; husbands, Jim Wilson and James Root; and son, Michael Wilson. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Dayton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in Carol's memory to Life Connection of Ohio.
