Carol A. Rice, age 84, passed away on March 18, 2022. She was born on January 31, 1938 to the late Albert and Mary Johannes.
She loved being a mom and grandma, and she loved to spend time with her great-granddaughter, Paisley. She loved to go out to eat, especially at Smokey Bones. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Johannes; and her son, Keith Rice.
Her memory will be cherished by her loving husband of 63 years, Ben Rice; children: Kelly (Rick) Klepinger; grandchildren: Melissa (James) Sparks and Rachel (Nick) Skapura; great-grandchildren: Paisley, Alexandria, and Savannah; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 1:00pm. A burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
