Carol E. Odgers was born in Oakland, California on November 14 1935. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Peter (Peet) W. Odgers, Major General, USAF, (ret); son, Brett; daughter, Laura (Ron) Chanslor; and brother, Robert (Karen) Knupp. She graduated from Stivers High School where she was President and Homecoming Queen for the Class of 1954. She then went to work at Wright-Patterson AFB where she met her husband. They were married in December 1960 when they left Dayton to pursue a 32 year career in the Air Force. Upon retiring in 1987 they returned to their Sugarcreek Township small farm where Carol enjoyed country living with the wild animals and the birds that frequently visited. She also enjoyed many social events with a group of her Stivers High classmates. A "Celebration-of-life" memorial service will be announced at a later date.
