Carol Sue Mercer, age 79 of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021. She was born May 7, 1942 in Coshocton, Ohio and grew up in Portsmouth.
Sue was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a Godly woman who read the bible, attended church. She worked at Robert's Furniture Store for many years until they closed. Sue was always cooking or baking something and she liked to take trips out shopping or to run errands. She also enjoyed yard work and flower gardening. She was a true friend and will be dearly missed. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Mercer and Thelma Dyer; and son, G. Deron Lewis. Sue will be missed by her loving daughter-in-law, Steffini J. Lewis; grandchildren, Ryan Lewis, Ashley Lewis, Lauren Lewis, and Hannah (Cameron) Hill; great grandson, Avery; and a granddaughter, Mia, on the way.
Private burial services will be held at Forest Hills Cemetery, Piqua.
