Carol L. Burnette

BURNETTE, Carol, age 88, of Fairborn, passed away Monday, September 28, 2009. She was born January 31, 1921 in Bradley, South Dakota. She was a charter member of Wrightview Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Don Burnette; three sons, Ron (Cheryl) Burnette, William (Teresa) Burnette, and Roy (Donna) Burnette; six grandchildren, Megan (Aaron) Hunt, Charisma (Chris) Booher, Chance (Shannon) Burnette, Penny Burnette, Kellie Burnette, and Lindsey Burnette; five great-grandchildren, Abigail, Mia, Brianna, Kyle, and Khloe. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Percy and Nellie Grace Wegenast; one sister, Georgia Lee Blaylock. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 1, 2009 from 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 2, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Wrightview Church of the Nazarene (1612 Superior Ave., Fairborn, OH) with Pastor Vernon Hurles officiating. Burial will follow in Byron Cemetery. If desired, donation may be made to the Nazarene Mission Fund in memory of Carol Brunette through Wrightview Church of the Nazarene.
