Carol J. Hall (Barnhart), age 73, of Kettering, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 27, 2015.
Carol was born in Dayton on March 16, 1942 to the late John Barnhart & Hazel Barnhart (Atkinson).
Carol retired after 30 years of service at Dayton Progress.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, John Douglas Barnhart and step father, K. Ralph Atkinson.
Carol was a loving mother of 6 daughters, Shawn Ashbrook, Vicki Wilson, Christine Penick, Tami Penick (Tony Mullins), Robin Arthur, Corinna (Chris) Carter; step-children, Maria (Virgil) Lundy-Warner, Todd Hall; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Carol is also survived by aunt, Joanne Mescher and special friend, Roger Pearson.
Carol was a true legend of her time; and role model for the many generations brought into this world through her. She would treat no stranger any less, and would welcome them into the family as if they were her own. Carol's legacy is one that will continue long into the future.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015 from 5-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 7pm.
