Carol Golden, age 70 of Xenia, slipped away peacefully in the early hours of Sunday morning, August 10, 2014. She was born January 17, 1944 in Star City, WV to the late Louis and Lydia (Gancs) Chiodo.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Carrie and Keith Golden, her sister Erma Panaia, and countless family and friends.
Mom was the sunshine of our lives; each day seemed a little brighter with her in it. Those who knew her instantly fell in love with her warm and caring personality. Those she only met briefly were drawn to her amazing spirit and generosity. She meant the world to her family who were by her side until her last moments on this earth.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or Miami Valley Pet Therapy Organization.
