Carol S. Furrey

Furrey, Carol S., 75, of Huber Heights, passed away January 3, 2017. She was born September 25, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Bart and Hermien (Schuster) Darling. Carol married Thomas "Tom" Furrey May 14, 1960. She was a dedicated homemaker and loved her family more than anything. Carol had a very big heart and a very generous and giving spirit. She opened her heart and home to many others. Carol was also an animal lover.

Carol is survived by her husband of 56 years, Thomas "Tom" Furrey; 3 children, Dana(Sabine) Furrey, Tim (Kelly) Furrey, Michele Furrey and Terry; 10 grandchildren, Aaron, Troy, Joseph, Daniel, Simon, Angelina, Gina, Shelby, Shelbs, Craig, Erica(Martin); 1 great grandson, Lars; brothers, Jerry Darling, Bart "Bud" (Margaret "Mickey") Darling, George (Ellen) Darling; special cousin, Phyllis (Paul) Frey, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Iva Darling, and her parents, Bart and Hermien Darling.
