Carol Jean DeMent, age 63 of Xenia, passed away Monday, October 18, 2021 at Sycamore Hospital. She was born June 28, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Tony and Faye DeMent.
Carol was a faithful and devoted member of North Side Christian Church in Xenia. She had love and devotion for the Lord and family. She treated others with a caring heart and will be remembered for being a hard worker. Carol was a dedicated employee with Dayton Center for Neurological Disorders for many years. Carol was a loving sister and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Karen Henderson.
Carol is survived by her sisters, Debbie (David) Black & Cheri (Mike) Vinson; nieces and nephews, Alicia Hill, Jason Hill, Christina (Brian) Moffitt, Nicole (David) Wilson, Shawn (Samantha) Black, Michael (Megan) Black, Dale (Tara) Vinson & Faye (Cory) Bernard and several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday October 29, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at North Side Christian Church (733 Country Club Dr, Xenia, Ohio 45385). A Funeral Service will be Saturday October 30, 2021 at 10:00 am at the church. Carol will be laid to rest at Valley View Memorial Gardens following the service.
