Carol Louise Brown, age 74 of Kettering, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born March 4, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio.
Carol was preceded in death by her mother, Almeda Marie Yardic and father, Harry Emmett Brown.
She is survived by her brother, Harry (Deborah) Brown; step-father, Stephen Yardic; nieces and nephews, Jeannette Abens, Jonathan Brown and Joseph (Karen) Brown; nine great nieces and nephews and cousins, Roy Davis and Virginia Moyer.
Carol was a 1962 graduate of Fairmont West High School. Carol began her career as a cashier later moving into the credit department with Kresge's Department Store. She made her way to Elder-Beerman serving in the shipping and receiving department for 35 years. Carol enjoyed her private time and caring for several neighborhood cats. She would spend a good deal of time watching television and enjoyed getting her hair done on a regular basis.
A graveside service will begin 2:00 pm Friday, July 27, 2018 at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, OH.
