Carol A. Beelick, age 81, of Springfield, passed away on May 29, 2023, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, on May 29, 1942, the daughter of the late Donald and Elaine Decker.

Carol was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Donald Decker and Kieth Decker; sister-in-law, Judy Decker; her son-in-law, Jeffrey Beavers; and her nephews, Donnie Decker and BJ Decker.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Donald Beelick; children, Andrew Beelick, Christine Beavers, Kietha (Lee) Bunch and Deanna (Rodney) Peters; grandchildren, Amanda Fair, Kala (Sergio) Quinones, Kalen Bunch, Jesse Peters, Jacob (Hayley Brown) Peters, Abbey (Jayden) Hoskins, Brevan Bunch, Natalee Peters and Addison Beelick; great-grandchildren, Sergio Quinones, Jr., Lillian Quinones, Beautiful Henderson, Keontray Franklin, Harlem Stewart, Brooklyn Stewart, J'Ontray Stewart, Queen Stewart, Cassidy Quinones and Dominic Peters; brother, Bill (Sarah) Decker; brother-in-law, Dale (Terry) Beelick; and many other loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Carol retired from Huber Heights School District, where she was a Teacher for over 51 years. While teaching she was awarded the Teacher of the Year Award. She was a member of the N.E.A, O.E.A, the Red Hat Society for many years. In free time, she was a passionate reader and competitive board game player. Carol's family and her students meant the world to her and she devoted her life to all of them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of her Life will be held privately by the family.
