Carmileta Decker, age 69 of Dayton, passed away November 18, 2013. She was born January 14, 1944 in Chattanooga, TN to the late Houston Hubert and Willie Ruth McNabb. In addition to her parents, Carmileta was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Carmen; brothers: Ray, Olan, Donald and Ronald; and sisters: Fay, Diane and Sarah Mae.
Carmileta is survived by her children: Charles (Mary Ann) Decker, Debbie Decker and Eddie (Tamelia Sue) Decker; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brothers: Norman and Walter; sister, Angela; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Carmileta worked for Republic Tool, Frigidaire and retired from General Motors.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road. Services and burial will take place in Chattanooga, TN under the direction of Lane Funeral Home.
