Miss Carmela Boston was born on December 12, 1973 in Charleston, West Virginia, Dorothy and Oconnel Boston. She was a lifetime resident of Dayton, Ohio, and a graduate of Dunbar High School, Class of '94. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Dukes, father, Oconnel Boston, step-father Charles Dukes; aunt, Dellia Wilson, and uncle, Richard Brackenridge.
To cherish her memories, she leaves her grandmother, Margret Boone; son, Jamarl (Terry) Seagraves; daughter, Shameka Boston; fiance, James Herman, you get it ya'll, HER-MAN, lol, and you couldn't tell her any different; brothers, Damon Boone, Robert (Shamika) Dukes; sisters, Daisy Dukes, Georgetta Dukes, and Hazel Dukes; Aunt Frances Giles; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Carmela was a loving daughter, sister, mother, fiance, cousin and friend. Carmela had a heart of gold and would do anything you ask of her. She loved being around family and playing dominoes, cards, crossword puzzles, and listening to music. Other than that, what she loved most other than Her-man was her dogs, which she referred to as her lil monkeys, lol, Coca, Stoney, and Blacky.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, from 12pm-12:30pm, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, where Funeral Services will begin at 12:30pm. Burial will follow services at Jeffersonview Cemetery.
