Age 71, of Huber Heights, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 21, 2010.
Carlos was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur L. & Hassie McKinney; two brothers, Charles & Bill McKinney; and by one sister, Vivian Cobb.
Carlos is survived by his wife of the past 43 years, Paulette (Manning) McKinney; two children, Eric L. (Cindy) McKinney and Alana C. (Larry) Adams; four grandchildren, Whitney, Emily, Zachary & Keelin; seven brothers & sisters, Helen Huffman, Ray (Thelma) McKinney, Thelma Baseore, Del (Mary Ann) McKinney, Yvonne (Tom) Payne, Don (Diane) McKinney & Shirley (Dr. David) Rhee; and by his extended family & many good friends.
Carlos was a member of Vandalia Christian Tabernacle, a U. S. Army veteran, and retired from A. E. Staley with 20 years of service and currently working at Performance Paint.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 25, at the Vandalia Christian Tabernacle, 836 Brown School Road, Vandalia. The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 a.m., until time of service. Pastor Todd Hoskins will officiate. Interment will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery in Vandalia.
If friends desire, contributions may be made in memory of Carlos to the American Cancer Society.
