Carlos L. Shockey

SHOCKEY, Carlos L., age 71, passed away Friday, January 15, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Colby and Velta Shockey; 1 sister, and 3 brothers. He is survived by his children, Tami Hagerty, Carla Jackson, Todd Shockey, Denise Burke, and Tonia Watkins; siblings, Gay Everhart, Danny Shockey, and Peggy Shockey, and 9 grandchildren. He served in the United States Navy and was a member of Amvets. Carlos also worked as the manager for Skate World in Kettering for over 20 years. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until the time of service. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
