Carlo Wagers, age 84 of Vandalia, Ohio, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021. He was born October 15, 1936 in Kentucky to the late Matthew and Bertha Wagers.
Carlo was a loving husband, father and grandfather who always put his family first. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S Ranger and was a member of the AMVETS.
In addition to his parents, Carlo was preceded in death by his wife, Zelma; daughter, Iva Young; and many brothers and sisters.
Carlo will be missed by his loving son, Gary Wagers; granddaughter, Amanda Wagers; many brothers and sisters and family members.
Family will receive friends Monday, January 11, 2021 from 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Burial Poplar Hill Cemetery. The state of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order where masks are required in all public buildings.
