Carlie B. Gayheart

Carlie B. Gayheart, age 65, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Carmella Shingleton; his parents Ellis and Gertrude Gayheart; one brother Jackie Gayheart and one sister Greta Faye Gayheart. Carlie is survived by his sister Wanda Walker; brother Lester (Kathy) Gayheart Sr.; step-children Warren, George, Jack, Earl (Shirley) Shingleton, Theresa (Thomas) Schulte-Hordelhoff and Kathy (Lester Sr.) Gayheart; grandchildren Shawn Collins, Phillip and Veronica Schulte-Hordelhoff, Frances Shingleton, Natalie Dunaway and Hunter Dunaway; nieces April (Tim) Dirks, Angelia Dirks, Sheila Gayheart, Sandie Walker and Alisha Walker; nephews Lester Gayheart Jr., Matthew Gayheart, Kyle Gayheart, Tom Walker, Steve Walker, Shane Walker Dustin Walker and Dylan Dirks; and many other family and friends. Services will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 11:00am at Newcomer Funeral Home Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering OH 45439). The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
