Carletta Lynn Adams, age 67, of Dayton, passed away on January 21, 2022. She was born on August 2, 1954 to Dock Adams and Marilyn Grinstead.
She enjoyed being with her family, and she loved being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed going to the school events and sports competitions of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to attend the cookouts and the family outings. She liked to watch cowboy flicks and ME TV. She was a social butterfly and loved to party.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dock Adams; her son: Jermaine Adams; grandson: Jaquan Miller; great-grandson: Dylan Isreal; and her sister: Edwina Adams.
Her memory will be cherished by her children: Tajuana (De'Andre) Adams, Kejuanna (Kevin) Adams, Johnetta (Antonio) White, and Marilyn Sue (Bryant) White; her mother, Marilyn Grinstead; 15 grandchildren: Jeniquia, Reginald, De'Mari, Jack, Ja'Keise, Jayon, Kemar, Jajuana, Jhmarea, Antonio Jr., Kemarion, Ty'Zhanae, Ty'Waun, BJ, and BreAun; 5 great-grandchildren; brother: Donald (Vanessa) Grinstead; and several cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 9:30am to 11:00am on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Victory In Power Ministries, 4519 Oakridge Drive, Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 11:00am. A graveside service will take place at 10:00am on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at West Memory Gardens.
