Carla Renee' Staffan-Jackson

Carla Renee' Staffan-Jackson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, age 60, of Springboro, passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2023.

She was born January 12, 1963 in Dayton, Ohio to Carlos and Judith (Frazee) Shockey. Carla grew up in the Dayton area and graduated from Northmont High School, Class of 1980. She enjoyed working as a Home Health Caregiver for MRDD for a number of years and was very passionate about her calling. In her free time Carla enjoyed gardening and had a "green thumb" when it came to growing flowers and veggies. Vacations were a treasured time for Carla and were usually spent at her beloved beach with her family.

Carla was preceded in death by her father Carlos Shockey, her brother Todd Shockey as well as her parents-in-law Robert and Eula Jackson Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Robert Nathaniel Jackson, III "Bobby"; her son Andrew (Kim) Staffan; her step children Casey Schmidt, Nathaniel "Nate" (Heather) Jackson, and her grandchildren Lexis Aurora Wilson, McKenna Rae Staffan, Emily Feliciana, Natelynn Jackson, and Jazmyne Jackson. Carla is also survived by her mother Judith Fishback; her sisters Denise Burke, Tonia Shockey and Tammy Roddy along with many other loved ones and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 2, 2023 from 4:00 pm until time of service at 5:00 pm at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd.
