Carl Williams

Carl D. Williams, age 77 of Centerville, passed away September 24, 2015. He was born February 17, 1938 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Charles and Rose Williams.

Carl is survived by his wife of nearly 54 years, Phyllis Williams; sons: Charles E. (Lee) Williams and David W. Williams; sisters: Carol (Jim) Johnson, Sue Photenhauer and Cathy (Dwayne) Bolejack; aunt, Mary Jo Christman; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Carl was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Operation White Coat. He was a member of the Kettering Seventh-day Adventist Church. He enjoyed working outside in his garden, building and designing, and he loved classical music.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 pm on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., where a funeral service will be held immediately following at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Carl's memory to the Good Neighbor House or to Kettering Seventh-day Adventist Church Praise Orchestra.
