Carl Thomas Woody Jr.

Carl Thomas Woody Jr., age 74, of Huber Heights, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 25, 2022. Carl was born in Dayton on August 30, 1947 to the late Carl Sr. & Geraldine Woody.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Rhett Woody.
Carl is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Debra Woody; children, Christine (Andy), Aron (Janet), Kelly (Michael) and Danielle (Jamar); grandchildren, Courtney, Taylor, Michael II, Sean, Ja'dden, Shannon, Austin, Kyle, Devin, Raelyn, Kaitlyn, Mya, Jordyn and Grayson; great-grandchildren, Ari, J.J., Ashton and Myles; brother, Ronald (Char); and many other relatives and friends.
Carl graduated from Beavercreek H.S. where he played baseball. He served in the U.S. Navy. Carl was a millwright for 41 years at GM. He enjoyed sports, camping, fishing, cooking and traveling. Carl was a proud family man, supporting husband, providing father, loving grandfather and a hero to all his children.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 2, 2022 from 6-8 pm at the Newcomer Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH 45432. The service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 10am at the funeral home. Carl will be laid to rest at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville, OH.
