Carlton "Carl" R. Smith age 74, of Kettering passed away February 4, 2020.
He was born November 13, 1945 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Robert and Dolores (Weber) Smith.
Carl was a proud veteran of the U. S. Air Force serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW. He loved animals and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Carl is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Vicki (Fullerton) Smith; son Sean (Melinda) Smith and granddaughter Ruby; brother Randy Smith; cousin Roberta Gratz; his beloved dogs Ramsey and Isis; as well as many other family and friends.
Family and friends will visit on Monday, February 10, 2020 from 3-5:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel. A Celebration of Carl's life will follow at 5:00 pm. Military honors will be rendered during the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carl's memory to the Greater Dayton Humane Society.
