Carl T. Smith, age 74 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born July 21, 1944 in Gainesboro, Tennessee the son of Ted and Belle Smith.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Herbie Smith.
Carl was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed boating and camping. He loved to take long drives and enjoy the scenery.
He retired as an Sales and Service driver from Metallurgical Heat Treating after 40 years of employment.
Carl is survived by his wife, Charlene; daughters, Linda Boyce, Karen Baker, Ronda Sue (Mike) Evans, Donna Lea Rammone, Karla Faye (William) Ratliff, Debbie (Jack) Stump; sisters, Jessie Smith-Shade, Dean Smith; brothers, Glenn (Pat) Smith, Jerry (Gloria) Smith; 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at August 8, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432.
