NICHOLS, Carl age 87 of Beavercreek, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his parents Andy and Molly Nichols; grandson Christopher Farra; brothers Arnold, Ernest, Tom and John Linton and sister Goldie Day. He is survived by Bonnie, his loving wife of 41 years, his son David and wife Regina Farra of Washington Twp., his daughters Faye Mitchell and Kim Salyer both of Huber Heights and Becky Farra of Moraine; grandchildren Brett Lieurance, Melissa Lieurance, David (Valerie) Farra, Chad (Angela) Salyer, Stacy (John) Bondy and Zachary Salyer; 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Carl graduated from Olive Hill High School in Olive Hill, KY. He served our country in the US Navy during WWII. He retired from NCR after 30 years of service prior to retiring from General Motors Moraine Assembly. He was a member of the Antioch Shrine and had attended the Dayton Living Word Church in Vandalia. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, with Pastor James Davis officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until time of service. Interment at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery.
