Carl Mcjunkins

Carl McJunkins age 62, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday January 9, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pleasant (Allie) McJunkins; 2 Brothers, Willie and Larry Jackson; and Son, GeRaye Martin. Additional survivors include his Wife, Alicia Fay McJunkins; Daughters, Latoria (Joseph) Morton, Lonnie (Eric) Garrett, Linita Pettigrew, Taja Martin, Lamesha Martin, Brittany Martin and Chalise Martin all of Dayton; Sons Carlos Whiting and Jason McJunkins of Dayton; Sister Linda Watkins of Stockton, CA; 20 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild; Niece Regis Jeter of Dayton; mother and father in-law, Talmadge and Linda Turner of Detroit, MI; special friends, Greg Moss, Leonard Price and Vlaedimer Davis and a host of loving family and friends.

Carl retired from TNT Automotive Supply where he served as a Quality Control Supervisor for many years,

Carl has been a faithful member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. He loved his church and church family where the minister would lovingly referred to Carl as "The Runner."

Carl enjoyed woodworking where he would make religious crosses and figurines. Carl also had a passion for cooking. One of his specialties was his famous orange pancakes. He was considered by his family as a "Master Chef."

A visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00 am on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 2067 N. Gettysburg Avenue, Dayton. Funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at the church with Pastor Jeffrey Brown, Jr. MIV officiating.
