Carl E. Long

Carl E. Long, age 69 of Tipp City, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Hospice of Miami County. He was born October 15, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Donald and Wilma Long.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Delores Lauterback, Eileen Stemen; and brothers, Wycliffe and Samuel Long.
Carl is survived by his brothers, Harold (Barbara) Long, Kenneth Burl Long (Debbie); daughter, Dawn Winsett; nieces, Becky Long, Lisa (Ben) Belk; great-nephews, Parker Long, Bradley Belk, Brandon Belk; great niece, Lauren Belk; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Carl served his country in the 101st Airborne in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 10:30 am at Dayton National Cemetery, 4100 W. Third St., Dayton, OH 45428.
