Carl Lee Rambo
Age 60, of Dayton, passed away Monday, July 20, 2009, at Hospice of Dayton after a lengthy battle with cancer.
He was born in Somerset, Kentucky to the late Clinton E. and Margie M. (Boyd) Rambo.
Carl was a plumber by trade for many years and worked until he was no longer able. He loved gardening.
Carl was a loving and devoted husband, dad, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who valued life and his Lord. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends and will always be remembered in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Jacqueline N. Whaley; sister, Rhonda M. (Rambo) Hill; two brothers, Clinton B. and James E. (Ed) Rambo; and by two nephews, Steven Rambo and Christopher Hill.
Carl is survived by his devoted and loving wife of the past 22 years, Donna G. (Adams) Rambo; daughter, Rachel Adams; grandsons, Tyler Moore and Jackson Whaley; two brothers, Howard and his wife, Pam Rambo & Jackie Rambo; two sisters, Sherry Snyder & Rose and her husband, Victor Adams, all of Dayton; and by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, at the funeral home with Pastor Daryl Brown officiating. Interment will be at Willow View Cemetery.
