Carl E. Dunkle Sr.

Carl E. Dunkle, Sr., age 79 of Trotwood, passed away May 12, 2015. He was born August 9, 1935 in Ross County, OH to the late Samuel and Nellie (Rutter) Dunkle. In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his sisters, Margaret, Mary, Violet and Elizabeth; brothers, Samuel, Bill, John, Russ, Wayne; four grandchildren, Kasha, Douglas Jr., Willis, William and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is survived by wife, Margaret Dunkle; children, Karen (Richard), Carl Jr. (Tina), Teresa (Ronnie), Douglas Sr., Melissa (Edgar) and Barbara; host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; sister, Letty Pearl Moody and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Carl was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing and hunting becoming a member of the Boone and Crockett Club in 1970 with a 191 3/8 score.
