Age 61, passed away April 22, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Berneita Bernett.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Greg (Betsy) Bernett; daughter, Robin (Adam) Weikert; grandson, Aiden Weikert; sisters, Jan Latson and Candy (Joe) Zirille; niece, Michelle Zirille.
Carl retired after 30 years of service as an Aerospace Engineer at WPAFB but for the past six years he was working part time for UTC on base. He was an active member of Shiloh Church of Christ. Besides his family Carl enjoyed jogging, camping, and performing in 2 hand bell choirs. Carl passed doing what he loved which was jogging; he will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 9:30 am until the time of service at 11:30 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Interment to follow.
