Carl Aren

Carl (Kunka) Aren, age 83, of West Carrollton, passed away, Wednesday, February 4, 2009. Carl is survived by companion and special friend Delores Bruns and her daughter Gwen Van Schaik; his brothers Bob and Bernie Kunka; he was the stepfather to the Mills children, Ted, Jim, Donald, Perry, Jeanie and Joanie; and many other friends and relatives. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 10, 2009 from 1:00pm-2:30pm at newcomer Funeral Home Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). At 2:30pm there will be a procession from the funeral home to Dayton National Cemetery (VA) for a committal service at 3pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Society for the Improvement of Conditions for Stray Animals (SISCA, 2600 Wilmington Pike, Kettering OH 45419).
